A cape town journalist was attacked by EFF deputy president Floyd Shivambu outside Parliament on the 20th of March 2018,Tuesday.
Adrian De Kock was chocked and hit on the face by Mr Shivambu for comment on the cape town mayor Patricia de Lille . De Kock is a multimedia Journalist at Network24.
De Kock said he approached the EFF’s deputy president for comment on the De Lille Issue but was almost immediately pushed away. Shivambu walked away when he saw other Journalists approaching them and he went into the Old Assembly after the scuffle broke between him and De Kock.
Patricia De Lille’s disciplinary hearing is being held in Parliament. The disciplinary is held probing misconduct charges against cape town mayor De Lille on the 20th March 2018.
De Lille is currently facing a tough time in her Political career as the democratic alliance (DA) prepares to welcome new leadership. She has been Mayor of cape town since 2011. And now for six months the DA has questioned her leadership.she survived a no confidence vote in February.
