SOUTH AFRICA: Trouble For Tiger Brands over Listeriosis Outbreak.


SOUTH AFRICA: Tiger Brands  has been facing a lot of pressure and criticism  over the recent revelation and retrieval of some of their products from grocery stores.

This followed the announcement  by the World Health Organization that some of their products (all processed foods like polony,  vienna,  russian and other cold meats) have been discovered  to contain the bacteria that causes listeriosis.

Apparently the Listeriosis death toll is rising as by far over 180 people have died. losing their lives to this deadly disease. Human Rights lawyers are now urging victims’ families to sue tigerbrands over listeriosis loss. They suggest that victims’ families should be compensated for hospital expenditures and funeral costs.
